Jeff Falvo comes to us having spent several years in sales, beginning in college at Olivet Nazarene University where he was a communication major. While in college, he was recruited by a friend to work in a summer internship program with The Southwestern Company. It was there he learned a laid back approach to selling by marketing educational and Christian books door-to-door working over 75 hours each week for five summers. As a sales manager he built a sales organization of about 70 students. Two of his four personal teams ranked in the top 10 out of about 200 teams. A few of his awards were Presidents Club, Masters of Sales, and Wall of Greats. Sales and leadership are learned skills for most people, and Jeff learned from some of the best.
In 1990, he helped start a supplemental insurance company where he worked for almost 5 years and was a top salesman and a District Sales Manager.
Through the years, he has had several opportunities to gain more experience in sales and leadership.
In 2009, he helped a second startup company as the lead sales associate, selling advertising on hospital digital information monitors to small businesses owners. When he started, he was the only sales person and was a vital part of the company's stellar growth. He was top in sales all three years and was involved creating sales presentations in addition to training new sales people.
Already having several years of experience working with business owners, joining RevLocal was a perfect fit. Integrity and providing a product that is helping businesses gain new customers are high priorities for Jeff. This is why he feels that working with RevLocal, both he and the business owners he serves are "in the right place".
Jeff was raised in upstate New York and lives in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife, Sheila. He has two adult stepsons, Hunter and Spencer Cummings , whom he is very proud of. He enjoys and feels blessed being involved with church, friends, cycling, snow skiing, traveling and hiking in the mountains with Sheila.
