Where is your hometown?
I am from the tiny town of St. Louisville, OH. It’s about 30 minutes north of our office.
What school did you go to and your major?
I am finishing up my degree at Central Ohio Technical College. My degree will be in Business Management Technology.
What relevant experience do you have related to your job?
I spent four years working in a bulk food store and deli. I worked my way up to the manager in the deli, so from that, I learned how to prioritize certain tasks and how to stay organized. I also learned a lot about customer service and how to help others. So with my role as a support specialist, I get to help other people on a daily basis.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
I love reading and anything that will help me learn something new. I live on a farm so there is always a lot to do. I like getting out and exploring new places. My weekends often consist of visiting Columbus to see my boyfriend and doing things out there. I also enjoy playing the guitar and piano.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
My love for travel has helped get me out of the country. I got to go to Japan and help teach a music camp for some military families in Okinawa. I taught guitar while I was there. I will also be visiting Italy on a study abroad trip, so travel is definitely an important part of my life.
What made you choose RevLocal?
I first heard about RevLocal at school. I had several professors who used the company as an example for different ways they were being innovative. I needed to complete an internship before I can graduate. So I decided I would try RevLocal. I started off as an intern just learning how to do the different things that the company does. And I’ve loved it ever since. The culture and the people are the best part. Everyone genuinely cares about each other. And we get to make a difference for people’s businesses which is such a fulfilling job.
