Hi, I’m Derek Miller and today I have your digital marketing trends to watch out for in 2018.
2018 is right around the corner, and it’s imperative that businesses are thinking about marketing on a local level.
Apart from the small businesses in your area, we can expect to see some of the biggest brands working to perfect their local marketing strategies in order to stay ahead. In fact, we’re seeing platforms such as Google and Facebook start to integrate hyperlocal features which make it easier than ever for businesses to interact with their customers.
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: review marketing is huge and it’s bound to keep growing in 2018. Your potential customers are busy doing their research and looking for authentic, honest reviews from customers just like yourself. You can easily generate new reviews by encouraging your customers to share their feedback.
Lastly, we’ll start to see a change in the way that people are searching for local businesses in 2018. Whether it’s smartphones, tablets or devices like Amazon Echo or Google Home, we’ve seen a steady rise in voice searches over the last few years.
Well, that’s it. We hope you enjoyed learning some of the trends that you can expect to see in 2018. Whether you’re interacting with your customers on a Facebook Live video or looking to improve your content marketing, we challenge you to find new, creative ways to engage with your customers.
