Inc. worked with Quantum Workplace to compile the rankings, which were based on three factors: financial benefits such as insurance and retirement, employee feedback and performance innovation. 

To qualify for the list, companies had to have been in business for three years, be based in the United States, have between 5-500 employees, be privately owned and have earned revenue of at least $2 million in 2015.
