Bob Dowens grew up in Holmdel, New Jersey. He studied at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he also played football. After college, Bob relocated to North Carolina and was part of a movement in NASCAR to bring college athletes onto pit crews. He spent eleven seasons as a Tire Carrier for some of the top teams in the sport. Bob's journey from college athlete to NASCAR was featured on the front page of The Wall Street Journal. When his days on pit road ended, Bob spent the next seven years as a department manager for a race team where he was a people leader and responsible for high-level project management. During this time, Bob expanded his professional knowledge and earned his North Carolina real estate broker's license. In his first year, he was awarded "Rookie of the Year" honors for the highest sales performance amongst new agents.
Bob combines a high-performance mentality from his days competing on pit road, with a growth and goal-oriented attitude from real estate to ensure customers are meeting their business objectives with a great experience.
