What school did you go to and your major?
I went to school down in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, at Coastal Carolina University. I majored in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and minored in Marketing.
What relevant experience do you have related to your job?
Prior to working with RevLocal, I held positions directly related to working with people, clients and small businesses. After graduation, I worked as an intern for a local boutique as their SEO Marketing Manager. After returning home to Ohio, I accepted a job as a Recruiting and Employment Specialists for a staffing agency, where I also was responsible for our social media pages and website. I started to freelance during this time as well, where I managed the social media accounts of a local hair salon, spa, boutique, and even a local politician running for office!
What are your hobbies outside of work?
Outside of work, I am constantly traveling and visiting new cities (and countries). I'm also a huge sports fan, it's only right if you live in Ohio! Most of my time, however, is spent with family and friends, and binge-watching TV shows on my couch with my dog, Louie.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
I grew up 10 minutes from Cedar Point Amusement Park, and I was able to ride every roller coaster in the park by the time I was 7 years old, including Top Thrill Dragster!
What made you choose RevLocal?
From the minute I walked in for my interview, I could tell RevLocal was a place where I could flourish, from the people, the learning opportunities and the overall purpose and values of the company itself. I am so excited to be a part of such a growing company and start my next chapter here!
