Where is your hometown?I was born in Conneaut, Ohio.
What school did you go to and your major?
I attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University and majored in Music Education.
What relevant experience do you have related to your job?
My parents started their own appliance repair business when I was 13, so I grew up experiencing firsthand the rewards and challenges of operating a family-owned business. I remember their frustration in paying thousands of dollars for Yellow Page ads with inconsistent results. My first marketing job was creating and posting ads on eBay for another locally-owned company. I also worked at a local music & media store for several years, which provided valuable insight in my current role of implementing marketing strategies for retail-oriented businesses.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
I love music, puns, reading, learning, and anything related to Irish and Celtic history and culture.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
I visited the United Kingdom in 2006 and kissed the Blarney Stone in Ireland.
What made you choose RevLocal?
I started working for the RevLocal family of companies in 2006 as a call center customer service and technical support representative before the inception of RevLocal. As RevLocal launched and grew, I became attracted to the opportunity of helping small businesses grow and succeed in the digital era. I held several operations management roles in the company before deciding to become a digital marketing strategist and work one-on-one with clients. I love the family-oriented culture at RevLocal, the ever-present opportunities to learn, and the fulfillment of helping clients meet their goals.
