The AIM awards are a yearly celebration of the best in Columbus marketing. The industry-recognized competition honors excellence in marketing and communications in multimedia, Internet, mobile, digital, advertising and branding.
Cory Miller, RevLocal's Corporate Marketing Manager, said the creative team is proud of the achievement. "Our design team at RevLocal is so talented. They seldom get the recognition they deserve, but they are in the spotlight today. It took the individual efforts of Rachel Magree, Kristin Hulse, Jon Scott, Kurt Wendling and Kenzie Lemaster to make this possible."
RevLocal took home two AIM awards – a top three finish in the category of Branding/Rebranding and a first place finish in the Corporate Identity subcategory. The award winning creative was completed during RevLocal's August 2014 rebranding efforts. This includes the agency's new website, corporate marketing materials and its brand book.
Until now, RevLocal's brand book has been strictly reserved for internal use, but Miller said the team felt it was time to share it with the public. "The brand book started as a passion project for us. We set out to document our brand and create some simple rules to follow. We walked away with a lot more than that. Our company has a great culture. We just tried to showcase it."
Note: The brand book reflects the products, services, logos and terminologies that were current in August 2014.
